Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to payments submitted through the Mothers and Fathers For Equal Rights online membership payment and application portal, including membership payments, approved services, and staff-approved paralegal or attorney paperwork payments.

1. All Sales Are Final

All payments are final and non-refundable once submitted, except where a refund is required by applicable law or by a written agreement signed by Fathers For Equal Rights. This policy applies to card payments processed through Stripe and to alternate payment options that staff may review manually.

2. Membership and Approved Services

Payments purchase membership, member services, intake processing, education, support resources, document preparation support, or other approved services. Payment does not create legal representation, an attorney-client relationship, or a guarantee of any court, custody, visitation, child support, legal, or government outcome.

3. Paralegal or Attorney Paperwork Payments

Paralegal/Attorney Paperwork payments are for staff-approved paperwork services or service-review records. Enter only the amount provided by staff. A $0 paperwork checkout is used only when staff confirms that no payment is due, and no refund is owed when no charge was collected.

4. No Payment Plans, Cancellations, or Chargebacks

No payment plans are offered through this portal. Payments may not be cancelled after submission. If you believe a payment was duplicated, entered incorrectly, or charged in error, contact the office promptly before opening a chargeback so staff can review the payment record and processor confirmation.

5. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges

Duplicate, incorrect, or disputed-charge requests are reviewed against portal records, Stripe records, staff notes, and any available payment confirmation. Review does not guarantee a refund. If a refund is approved or legally required, it is generally returned to the original payment method when available, and processing time depends on the payment processor and your bank or card issuer.

6. Payment Processor

Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. This website does not collect full card numbers or bank login credentials. Stripe, your card issuer, your bank, or another payment provider may apply separate timing, processing, dispute, or verification rules outside of Fathers For Equal Rights control.
